The three industries that I choose to research and analyze are Marketing, Architectural Design, and Entrepreneurship.  I settled on Entrepreneurship, because I really have a desire to run my own business someday.  In choosing Entrepreneurship I thought of some businesses that I might be interested in running. 
Here they are in no particular order:

• Ceramics

• Bed & Breakfast

• Coaching and Mentoring

• Architectural Design

• Photography Training

• Graphic Design

• Real Estate Development

            I would be more interested in taking over an existing business rather than starting something from scratch.  My wife and I have discussed a ceramics business that we know of and think it would be kind of cool to run something like that and expand it into so much more.

            Coaching and mentoring, I like this area, because I enjoy helping people and to see how my help can make a difference in their lives.

            I might be interested in creating a photography training program that people could sign up for and we would travel to different places and produce hands-on photography work together in small groups.

            The career assessment said that the real estate development was an area that I would be good in. This would take a lot more capital.  Who knows, maybe down the road this might be something that I would invest in.

            Bed & Breakfast and Architectural Design were my top 2 picks.  In my research with Architectural Design, I think I would really enjoy this area of work.  However, I currently lack the educational and practical experience that I would need to make it work.

            The Bed & Breakfast idea is something that I have researched quite a bit.  I have even found one for sale in Alaska that looks very enticing.  The things that I am learning in this course have been very helpful in this pursuit.
